_tkinter.pyd is a Python programming language file used with Python Win32 in the Atriuum library automation system.  It is a harmless file on its own.

Some spyware, virus, and Trojan horse programs, however, may try and disguise some of their harmful files as legitimate files, which may explain errors with _tkinter.pyd.

The file could also have been corrupted by a virus or other malicious program.  It may be left over from an incomplete uninstall, or simply be outdated.
