The file backitup-deu.nls is a language component of Nero BackItUp from Nero AG.  Nero BackItUp is a program that burns back up files to DVD’s or CD’s, either manually or automatically.  An nls file is a National Language Services driver that sets up the character map and fonts for the supported language.  This file is for the German language.
