~rmv30.tmp is a temporary file associated with Ikarus Security software. The file by itself should not be harmful.

~rmv30.tmp works in the Windows registry. The Windows registry is a “shortcut” space in the computer through which process files are routed. Were they not routed thusly, they would need to search the entire computer to find the files with which they are meant to interact.

Sometimes, the registry can become cluttered or damaged through no fault of the system user.  This frequently occurs because of out-of-date files and programs that did not de-install properly.
