~ws2.tmp

Little is currently known about ~ws2.tmp.  It is a temporary process file which runs through the dynamic linking library, also known as the registry.

The Windows registry keeps process files organized and running smoothly toward their proper programs and components.  In other words, a healthy registry keeps your computer from becoming confused when running multiple programs, and keeps your programs and applications running quickly and efficiently.  Occasionally the registry may become cluttered with out-of-date and improperly uninstalled files (these are the fault of bad software and not of users).

The registry can also become corrupt from damage due to viruses.  Anti-virus software rarely fixes the registry problems associated with the viruses it removes.  For this, you need a registry cleaner.  You are welcome to try a free scan with ZookaWare PC Cleaner if you want to keep your computer running smoothly.
