IE-Security is a rogue security program designed to trick the user into purchasing a product that is a hoax.  Through false and aggressive pop-up security warnings, IE-Security attempts to convince the user that infections have been detected, and that they should purchase the product to remove these infections.  IE-Security is malware, and may collect information about your online habits as well as private data like passwords and credit card numbers.  This application may also install additional malware, which will only make things worse.  Your PC may become slow or unstable, and could crash in severe instances.

Recommended Action:
Remove Immediately

IE Security

Manual Removal:

Manual removal of IE-Security requires killing all running processes, then locating all related files and values in the Windows registry so that you can delete them.  The process is complex, and puts your PC at risk of severe damage if not done correctly.  Manual removal is not advised unless you are an expert with a thorough knowledge of the process.

To remove IE-Security automatically, it is recommended that you use a reputable antispyware program such as ZookaWare PC Cleaner, which is intended specifically for this purpose.

Luckily, I didn’t purchase for the license of this “program”. SpyZooka made it’s job and alerted me about the problem. I’m happy to be your costumer 🙂
