If you want to protect your computer from spyware, then don’t use AntiSpywareApp. It is a rogue antispyware program that was created to trick people into spending their money and giving out their credit card information. It infects computers through Trojan horses that download and install it without the user’s knowledge or consent. There are also websites that promote AntiSpywareApp as well, though there is no real information about who made the program or how to get any help with it.

Once this rogue has infected your computer, you will be subjected to a barrage of fake security alerts and fake system scans. Your computer will also be slowed down along with your Internet connection. This is why AntiSpywareApp should be removed immediately upon discovery. In order to do this manually, kill the following processes:

Type : Rogue Security Application

Relative file contents : AntiSpywareAppmenu.exe, AntiSpyware.srv.exe, antispyware.exe, launcher.exe, setupxv.exe, spycleaner.dll, antispyware.amd64.sys, antispyware.x86.sys

Delete this registry entry:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run AntiSpywareApp

Unregister this DLL:

Delete these files:

Finally, delete these directories:

%PROGRAM_FILES%\\ antispywareapp\\ filterdrv\\
C:\\Program Files\\AntiSpywareApp\\
Though these instructions will help you remove AntiSpywareApp from your computer, they will not ensure that your computer is safe. The only way to completely remove all malware and protect your computer from future infection is by using a reliable, legitimate antispyware program.

It all started when I realised that my computer slow down dramatically and I was bombarded with lots of pop ups. my internet searching was redirected to some other pages so that made my work really hard, because it was impossible to download something. I had to take SpyZooka’s removal tool from another computer, install it and it worked. This AntiSpywareApp is gone 🙂

My computer has been infected with AntiSpywareApp and I tried to remove it, but it keeps coming back. I had to stop the process every time I turn on the computer, from task manager. That was so annoying.. Here is some great information.
