There are hundreds of rogue antispyware applications out there and AntispywarePro2009 is one of them. Just like all of the other rogues, it was designed to hinder computer and Internet performance, steal personal information, and attempt to steal money. It usually infects through a Trojan horse, and then it goes on to bombard the user with a bunch of fake security alerts. It will perform phony system scans and come up with a list of fake infections. Then, AntispywarePro2009 will tell the user that the only way to remove the threats is to purchase the registered version of the program.

Over the past six months I had a lot of trouble surfing the Internet and working on my PC. I tried different free and pay anti virus software, but they were all of little help. I scanned with SpyZooka, it turned out that my computer was infected by AntispywarePro 2009. I had to download the removal tool and now my computer works fine. Thanks!
