AutoSearch.a – Not What It Purports To Be!

AutoSearch.a is another of those adware programs that deliver oodles of unwanted content in the form of popups ads to your browser. It has come to you unannounced, and doesn’t require you to do anything to give it access to your computer or system at large. It simply takes it upon itself to go wherever it likes, run whatever programs it likes, and transmit your information wherever it likes! This is the real problem with a program like AutoSearch.a. It can install these other programs in the background, before you’re really aware of the depth of this infection, and will even generate ads when you’re not actively surfing the internet.

AutoSearch.a will come along, usually unknown to you until it’s too late, and set up shop in your system and begin to send info to a remote server, which will then in turn serve up advertisements that it believes you will want to see, and hopefully click upon. This is one way in which they make money off you. In reality, however, their targeting isn’t all that, and what you end up with most of the time is either wildly off-target ads, or simply a spate of pornographic images.

Getting rid of AutoSearch.a, as well as other spyware and adware programs like it, is not as easy as one might hope. Even if you were able to locate all the files associates with AutoSearch.a, this program is very skillful at reconstituting itself, and you’d find yourself staring at the same ads in the morning! Many have tried this route and failed, many of whom were more computer savvy than most. Better to leave this to either an expert or a legitimate, proven antispyware software solution. The best one I’m aware of on the market is called ZookaWare PC Cleaner. It comes with an ironclad guarantee to find and remove all traces of spyware on your machine, and will have you back up and surfing safely in no time at all!
