Backdoor

A Backdoor is a software program that allows the hacker to take control of your computer from a remote location. A Backdoor program often allows the attacker with control to gain access to your private information, and use your computer for malicious purposes. A Backdoor is one of the most dangerous types of parasites, as the hacker can disable your system, install additional malware and cause damage in general. Most backdoors are specific trojans, keyloggers, viruses and other remote administration tools. A Backdoor usually hides in the background, so the user does not realize it resides on their PC until they begin having problems.

Malware generally causes poor system performance, and may inflict damage on your PC. Your computer may become slow, and you will most likely notice incessant pop-up ads, browser redirection and possibly a changed homepage. To remove backdoors manually, you must kill all running processes, and then locate the related files and values in order to delete them. This process is extremely difficult, and not advised. To remove any Backdoor that may reside on your PC, use a reliable antispyware tool such as Spyzooka, which will automatically detect and remove all parasites.
