Smiley Source was created by Best Offers Networks, LLC, a known peddler of adware.  The adware program called BestOffersNetworks has been known to be bundled with the software, which ostensibly enables the user to insert emoticons, or “smileys,” in email messages.  While Smiley Source itself isn’t adware, when you download the software, you sign an End User Licensing Agreement to allow the adware called BestOffersNetworks to be installed on your computer.  This makes it debatable as to whether this is an unwanted adware program.  Removal of the adware may result in an inability to use the Smiley Source program.

Smiley Source is a redundant program.  Many email servers have rich text email options which will insert emoticons to emails.  It is completely unnecessary and potentially dangerous to download this program.  BestOffersNetworks has spyware capabilities and can compromise your privacy, as well as your computer’s performance and stability.  It not only searches browsing history, but also logs keystrokes and sends this data to a remote server to deliver custom advertisements.

ZookaWare PC Cleaner can quickly and easily remove Smiley Source and all its components.
