Holistyc

Holistyc is a program that dials premium rate toll charge numbers that connect to adult or pornographic content. Holistyc may be installed on your PC by visiting (purposely or accidentally) questionable websites, or it may slip through your operating and security system if weak. Holistyc may place additional malware on your computer that can cause serious problems both with your PC and your personal information. It may collect information about you, such as your interest when searching online, passwords and personal business data. Your operating system may become unstable, your computer may be slow, and you may also receive incessant pop-up ads and spam emails. To protect your computer and personal security, and to remove Holistyc, it is recommended that you use a reputable antispyware tool such as Spyzooka to scan your PC, detect viruses and threats, and immediately remove them.

    I’ve runned spybot and the holistyc threat was found.
    But spybot was unabled to clean it, even after some restarts…
    I also runned ad-aware, a-squared and MS AntiSpyware. It seems that Spyzooka helped, because I can’t detect it anymore. Thanks!
