Win32.CMDer

The Backdoor Trojan type of spyware counts Win32.CMDer as one of its many implementations, which puts computers at risk by pretending to be a “good” file and getting around the standard security measures in place.  Once this goal is accomplished, the Win32.CMDer releases a payload of problems that can destroy a hard drive, grant computer control to a hacker at a remote site, or create other unpleasant issues.

Manual Removal:
There are specific methods used to remove the Win32.CMDer spyware manually, which include ceasing any of the running processes of the program and completely destroying and removing any remaining related files.   This could be a challenge for people who are not particularly well versed in computer security and programming issues, so there are other commercial options available.  One of the most reliable is ZookaWare PC Cleaner, from the ZookaWare Company.
