Win32.Pagun

Win32.Pagun can be found sneaking into computers posing as a program that is desirable or an update to a program that you already have.  It is able to do this most often through e-mail. However, it can be installed via peer-to-peer file sharing program, as well.  Users inadvertently install this malware thinking that it is something that will be beneficial but instead, it will only cause headaches and frustration.  These backdoor programs open up a port or backdoor allowing their author to enter at a later date.  The intent of these programs is to steal your information, ultimately.  Their capabilities include: keylogging, ability to prompt false alerts and remote access tool (RAT) – controlling your computer from a remote location.
