Cleanator is a rogue security program that uses aggressive and misleading security warnings to frighten the user into believing their PC is infected.  Cleanator cannot scan your PC, nor can it detect or remove any type of malware.  It is malware, and poses risks to your computer and personal identity.  Cleanator may make your PC run slowly or become unstable.  It may also access private information such as passwords and credit card numbers.  Information collected by Cleanator may be sold to third parties as well.  Cleanator is designed to trick you into spending money on a useless product.

Remove Immediately


Manual Removal:
To remove Cleanator manually, it is necessary to kill all running processes.  At this point, you should locate all related files and values in the Windows registry so that you can delete them.  Manual removal is a difficult process, and may cause damage to your PC.

To remove Cleanator automatically, it is recommended that you use a reputable antispyware application such as Spyzooka, which is intended specifically for this purpose.

    Yesterday, when I was checking my email, all of a sudden this program called “cleanator” popped up. All these pop ups keep coming up and saying that I have 7359 harmful things on my computer when I didn’t do anything bad to it. I have done research on it and a lot of people say it is bad. So…when I found this blog I had to download the removal tool right away. I’m glad that my mother doesn’t have to pay to repair my computer 🙂
