PersonalProtector Removal Instructions
Finding a rogue security application like PersonalProtector on a computer can be a very frustrating experience, indeed. These programs are not designed to protect you at all, despite their names. Rather, they are a scheme to make it look as if the computer has been infested with malware, to try to fool the owner into buying useless “fixes” for the nonexistent “problems.” PersonalProtector belongs to the family of these untrustworthy rogue security
applications.
The PersonalProtector program will even mimic actual security notifications, like those normally sent from Windows Security Center, with faked messages. It will use these to erroneously state the presence of some viruses and other forms of malware. Again, none of this is real. PersonalProtector is simply trying to con the computer user, and should be completely removed from a computer at the first opportunity.

While manual removal can remove PersonalProtector, remember that it is not a guarantee that additional problems will not persist. There could be another attack by PersonalProtector, or other problems could arise. Choosing an antispyware program can help to remove all of these issues, and keep them away.
The Blue Penguin software company has created SpyZooka for just this task, and it is a guaranteed product.
