PrecisionPop Detection and Removal
PrecisionPop is a piece of adware that downloads advertisements onto your computer. It can be installed by the user, but sometimes is also installed by ad-supported software. This can include free media players, bit torrent downloaders, P2P interfaces, and shareware/freeware.
PrecisionPop insinuates itself in Microsoft Windows so that it runs every time Windows starts up. It also connects to a script on a pre-determined website every time it runs, which eats up Internet connection speed and may slow your browser.
You can generally remove PrecisionPop from your system by deleting the files below. Keep in mind that some forms of adware hide their files in various places on your system, so it can be difficult at times to find all malicious files.
Also, please be careful when deleting registry entries and executable (.exe) files from Windows. SpyZooka can search for and destroy malicious files all over your computer, and is updated no less than every 24 hours!
