Surebar Toolbar Removal

Surebar installs itself onto Microsoft Internet Explorer, sneaking past firewalls by disguising itself as a browser helper object (BHO).  It hijacks searches by way of modifying files on the computers it infects.

Not only does Surebar rewrite your files, it also contacts its home server every time you start up Explorer, making this add-on a clear violation of privacy.  It is from the same family as EZSearch.  The two programs work the same way but have slightly different file names.  The presence of one may indicate that of the other.

In addition to all of these wonderful qualities, Surebar also displays a whole host of pop-up and pop-under advertisements.  A free scan with SpyZooka will let you know what other malicious spyware may be infecting your computer.
