AtlBar.a – Entertain At Your Own Risk!

AtlBar.a is adware designed to deliver up unwanted and potentially offensive popup ads to your computer, in the hopes that you will click on one of them, whereby they will then make some money. This program has come onto your machine either through a Trojan such as Vundo or Zlob, or possibly through a bad video codec file. It has self-installed on your computer, and has set about entrenching itself therein. You didn’t even have to give it permission to do so, but it happens all the same.

The danger of AtlBar.a and other adware programs like it are not necessarily the unending procession of ads that now emanate from your computer, but the very real danger that AtlBar.a will have opened the backdoor to a host of other, more dangerous spyware and adware applications. These can and will seriously compromise the security of your computer, and your personal and financial data could very likely be at risk. It is imperative not to let this continue, so AtlBar.a must go!

Unfortunately, trying to get AtlBar.a to leave is another matter. Removing AtlBar.a is no easy task, as it has the ability to disguise itself well, and leaves many copies of itself hidden throughout your system, many in files that look perfectly normal to the average eye. Even if you were able to get a bunch of these files deleted, there would undoubtedly be others that you miss that will spring to life and plant you back right at square one! Also, there is the very real possibility that in your efforts to get AtlBar.a off your computer, you would delete a file you actually need for the operation of your machine, without even knowing it.

It is much better to opt for a legitimate antispyware software solution that will kill all traces of AtlBar.a and its cohorts. The best I know of is called ZookaWare PC Cleaner, and it comes with a 100% spyware removal guarantee.
