Bulla Spyware Profile

Bulla is a spyware program that gets its advertisements from www.bulla.com.  It was first discovered on July 20 of 2005.  It is a Browser Hijacker program that monitors your browsing activity, changes the advertisements on the web pages you visit and it resets your home page.  Attempts to open the website of bulla.com get 404 errors.  Presumably the website is shut down, and perhaps the vendor is out of business as well.

Still, the spyware program called Bulla remains in circulation.  Other vendors may make use of it.  You can get infected with Bulla by stealthy drive-by downloads.

If your computer is infected by Bulla, you need to get rid of it immediately.  It can log your keyboard activity and take snapshots of your computer screen.  It then sends it to a remote server to process and deliver targeted ads.  This presents a definite risk to your credit card information and login details.

Bulla can be removed manually, but it is not advisable.  The process is too technical and hazardous to your computer.  It is much easier and safer too remove it by using an antispyware program such as ZookaWare PC Cleaner.
