eKerberos – One Program You Don’t Want On Your Computer!

eKerberos is the son of another rogue antispyware program called iKerberos. It is an altogether nasty offspring, able to do even more damage than its father. Typically, it will find its way onto your computer usually through a driveby download exploit, or through a Trojan such as the infamous Vundo or Zlob. It can also take up residence by attaching itself to a suspect video codec file download. Once it’s on your machine, it springs to life, installing itself without any permission or action by you, and proceeds to start what it terms a “scan” of your computer. Very soon it comes up with and presents you a list of what it has “found”, which in reality is a list of non-existent “threats” that eKerberos tells you that you need to dispose of right away.

What you need to dispose of right away is eKerberos! Especially before it cons you into buying its “fix”, one that not only won’t fix anything, but will in fact deposit even more malicious malware onto your machine, some of it able to do much more harm than eKerberos. This can include data mining applications that make their business to get into your business! It will record keystrokes, which can be a problem if you buy anything online, or do any online banking.

If you decide to try and remove eKerberos all by yourself, I’m afraid you will meet with only more frustration. eKerberos and others like it are very skillful at hiding themselves deep within your computer, and despite your best intentions, you will almost certainly miss copies of this beast, which will then reconstitute itself on your next bootup.

No the only reliable way to get all traces of eKerberos off your machine is to use a trusted and proven antispyware software solution, and the best one I know of is called ZookaWare PC Cleaner. It comes with a 100% spyware removal guarantee and will have your computer free from these pests in no time!
