My wifes computer is infected with a trojan named obfus.Gen and CiD pop-ups, I need your help.
I have been trying to remove CiD pop-ups for some time now. I have scanned my computer with the following:
Ad-Aware 2007: Scanned several times and removed all the items that were in the privacy objects tab, rebooted and scanned again and came up with zero problems.
Spybot: I have scanned with spy-bot and fixed everything so I thought, every scan keeps popping up with Microsoft WindowsSecurityCenter_disabled, I click on the box, run fix it, itshows that it has been fixed. I run a scan again after a restart and it shows the same problem.
I still get pop-ups, I have looked in Add/Remove programs and noticed that I have CiD Helper, I’m skeptical about removing it because it ask if I’m human and to input a code, I don’t know if this is a trick or not.
A friend of mine told me about this site and I want someone to tell me if this really works because I am desperate.
