Removal Instructions for MS Antivirus 2009

MS Antivirus 2009 is a rogue antivirus application that behave just like other rogue security applications. It uses Trojan horses to infect computers, uses fake security warnings and fake scans to scare users into buying the registered version of its program. It is even configured to start a scan whenever the user logs into Windows. Of course, the scan only gives fraudulent results.

Though MS Antivirus 2009 promises to remove infections, it is powerless to do so. Instead, it only causes the infected computer to slow down. It will reduce the Internet connection speed and generate pop-ups. On top of this, it will charge you money for its nefarious deeds.

The other days I seem to have picked up this internet scam, “Antivirus XP 2010”, which barred me from browsing the internet and tried to get me to buy fake software. I found a strange process in the task manager, “av.exe”, so I checked it out on the internet off a different computer and found that that was indeed the scam, so I ended the process. It kept coming back for a few days, so I try to remove it by myself. After some hours I realized that is impossible. I found your site and I downloaded the removal tool. Thanks to your help, now my computer runs normally.

A few days ago I kept getting some messages from MS Antivirus 2009 telling me that my computer is infected with a whole bunch of virus. It kept popping me out at every 30 seconds. I tried to remove it by using “add/remove programs”, but it didn’t worked. I know that it can be really annoying and very hard to remove.
