SecureKeeper Removal Instructions

SecureKeeper will do the exact opposite of what its name would suggest.  It will not keep your computer secure!  This malware program belongs to the group known as rogue security applications.  These programs are designed to install themselves secretly, often through a Trojan. Then spread panic about security issues so that unneeded software will be purchased.  Computer users are frightened into the thought that their computers are somehow under attack, so they will be scared into purchasing unscrupulous products.

The SecureKeeper creates false security alerts designed to appear like Windows Security Center messages, as well as pop-up advertisements and other annoyances that will give the appearance of searching the computer for viruses. However, the program is not doing anything substantive at all for protection of the computer

I had a virus called SecureKeeper that has been showing up on my computer all the time. It’s nothing that I ever purchased or installed, and it was telling me that I have security problems. I was asking on the internet about what should I do and someone redirected me to your site. I can say you saved my computer’s life 🙂
