AVKiller is a destructive. Its main purpose is to destroy antiviral programs, leaving your PC vulnerable to infections and viruses. AVKiller is highly dangerous, and should be removed once detected. This malicious program may also terminate firewalls and antispyware programs, although they may still appear to be running to the user. AVKiller allows the hacker to install additional malware and to collect private information. Your computer may become slow or even crash.
These infections often disable or destroy system files that are needed in order for your computer to work properly. To remove AVKiller manually, you must kill all associated running processes, then detect and delete all related files and values located in various locations on your PC. Manual removal is not advised, due to the risk of computer damager. To remove AVKiller automatically, it is suggested that you use a reputable antispyware program such as Spyzooka, which is intended for this purpose.
i awoke to this virus when my friend was browsing the net.
as soon as i saw “AVKiller Unregistered” pop up, i knew that wasn’t a real anti-virus i had on my computer, so i ran Antivir and Ad-Aware overnight, they found a few problems but when they performed their actions, there was no change. So i tried opening Firefox on my account to find a manual fix for this, only problem was, now none of my programs would open. The weird part is, my mom’s account on the computer worked just fine except that it forgot our preferred program for the internet, so i had to change it to Firefox.
That’s how I found Spyzooka and downloaded AVKiller remover.
Thanks for the help!
I thought I would never get rid of that stupid AVKiller. Now with SpyZooka, it’s history. My other spyware removers didn’t get rid of it, but this did! And doesn’t hog memory!
