Dangerous self-replicating Win32.Landis is known as a worm.  It will infiltrate others on a network by sending out copies of itself to users.  After installing itself into your registry, it will connect with its author via IRC channels.

The file size is about 113KB and is a Windows PE EXE file.

Be cautious using MSN Messenger and AOL Instant Messenger because this is precisely how this worm likes to get around.  In addition to spreading to other users on the network, Win32.Landis will flood targeted systems through ping, HTTP, UDP, TCP and Denial of Service attacks.
