Proxy.Corpse
Proxy.Corpse is a trojan designed to run a secret proxy server on the compromised PC. Proxy.Corpse allows the hacker to take control of your PC and use it for malicious purposes. Private information such as passwords and credit card numbers may be accessed, and additional malware may be placed on your PC. Proxy.Corpse also enables the attacker to modify network settings and disable necessary system files, which will affect the performance of your computer.
Proxy.Corpse should be removed immediately once detected. To remove Proxy.Corpse manually, you must kill all associated running processes, then detect and delete all related files and values in the Windows registry and other locations. Manual removal is not advised due to the risk of damage to your PC. To remove Proxy.Corpse automatically, it is suggested that you use a reputable antispyware tool such as Spyzooka, which is intended for this purpose.
