Remove MyAccessMedia Toolbar and Adware

MyAccessMedia installs as a toolbar on your Microsoft Internet Explorer browser.  Like other adware, it invades your privacy and sends annoying pop-up ads your way.

How did MyAccessMedia get on your computer?  It’s likely that it came with entertainment software you downloaded.  It comes with some movie-viewing/sharing software and some P2P softwares.  The download is typically listed in the Terms of Service (TOS), which are generally way too long to be read in full by any normal human being.

Norton will sometimes list MyAccessMedia in its scan, without actually telling you what to do about it.  The best thing you can do is find an anti-spyware program—we recommend ZookaWare PC Cleaner—that will take care of the threat for you.
