RemScan
RemScan is a backdoor program that installs through malicious trojans, and allows the attacker to take control of a compromised computer from a remote location. RemScan enables the hacker to use your PC for malicious and fraudulent purposes, and to access private information. RemScan also allows the attacker to change network settings, modify or disable system files and other various unwanted tasks. Additional malware may be installed on your PC as well.
It is advised that RemScan be removed immediately once detected. To remove RemScan manually, all related running processes must be killed. You must then locate all associated files and values in the Windows registry and various other locations so that they can be deleted. Manual removal may cause damage to your PC and is not advised. To remove RemScan automatically, it is recommended that you use a reputable antispyware tool such as Spyzooka, which is designed for this purpose.
