Shbot is a backdoor trojan that allows an attacker to take control of a compromised computer from a remote location. Shbot enables the attacker to use your PC for malicious intentions, execute commands, modify system files and change network settings. He may also have access to private information.

Shbot may be responsible for additional malware becoming installed on your PC, and should be removed immediately once detected. To remove Shbot manually, you should first kill all associated running processes, then locate related files and values in the Windows registry in order for them to be deleted. Manual removal puts your computer at risk of damage, and is not advised. To remove Shbot automatically, it is suggested you use a reputable antispyware tool such as Spyzooka, which is intended for this purpose.
