Shelcod is a backdoor trojan that enables a hacker to take control of your computer from a remote location and use it for malicious or fraudulent intentions. Shelcod allows the attacker to change network settings, access private information, execute commands and modify or disable system files.

Additional malware may be installed as well, so it is advised that Shelcod be removed immediately once detected. To remove Shelcod manually, you must kill all associated running processes, then detect all related files and values in the Windows registry so that they may be removed. Manual removal may cause damage to your PC and is not advised. To remove Shelcod automatically, it is suggested you use a reputable spyware removal program such as Spyzooka, which is intended for this purpose.
