Win32.Acidhead is a backdoor Trojan with remote administration tool (RAT) capabilities. This means that once the Trojan opens up a backdoor, the Trojan will install a remote administration tool, which gives unauthorized access to a remote user. It runs in the background without the user’s knowledge. The attacker can access files, send e-mails, install programs, and anything else the attacker chooses to do.
