Strange happenings with your computer may reveal that you have been infected with Win32.Jupdate.  It is a backdoor Trojan and affects Windows 2000, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP. It was first discovered on November 21, 2004 and has been infecting computers ever since.  Win32.Jupdate will invade a system and then copy itself to the hard disk.  Its most typical file name is *.  It will then create new startup key under the name JUPDATE and value *.  In the processes, many of the file names will have JUPDATE in the title.
