Win32.Masot is a malicious backdoor Trojan that originated in Iran.  Written in Delphi language, it was released in October of 2006 and is still ruining systems to this day.  Author, SMA Soft, created this program to run a web server on your infected system and then provide access to a remote attacker.  Most often, the creator is lying in wait to enter your PC and take over.

In addition to loss of control of your system, your data may be at risk because this pest will send stolen information via e-mail to its author to be used for ill purposes.
