Although this program has all the bells and whistles of a security application, PCsProtector will do nothing in the way of keeping you secure.  PCsProtector comes from the Winisoft family of rogue applications and from pop-ups to security warnings, this junkware will tell you anything to try to dupe you into buying their product.  Doing so will only lead to a loss from your bank account and added frustration.

Manual Removal Instructions:

Manual removal can be quite time consuming and labor intensive.  Usually only those familiar with the process should attempt manual removal.  If you are familiar and knowledgeable about this program, PCsProtector then proceed with the following:

Delete the following processes thoroughly:

PcsProtector.exe uninstall.exe %WINDOWS%\\System32\\.exe

Followed by deleting these registry values:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run “.exe”
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run “PcsProtector”

Then unregister the following DLLs:


You will now need to delete the following files:
