PLook is a basic Adware Dropper program developed by PLook Comp, LLC for Affiliate Target Company in October of 2005.  It is also used by 3Find.com.  It has to be downloaded and installed by the user.  PLook pretends to be a search assistant program in order to do this.

It has no damaging payload and can update itself through the user’s Internet connection.  It downloads advertising from www.affiliatetarget.com or from www.3find.com.  PLook generates pop-up advertising from this downloaded information.  It has no spyware capabilities.

Affiliate Target Company had a notorious reputation for not paying their spammers and are seemingly defunct, since their web page is no longer in use.  The same can be assumed for 3Find.com, as their domain is closed down, as well.  It is unknown if PLook Comp, LLC is closed down, but it can be assumed that it is.  There is no company reference outside of www.affiliatetarget.com and the PLook adware program.

While PLook cannot damage your computer, the pop-up ads are an annoyance and it provides no search assistance.  Get rid of it with SpyZooka.
