Win32.Poison

Win32.Poison will do precisely what its name says.  It will poison your PC.  With an infection from Win32.Poison, you will have your computer open to just about anyone to enter.  Once this pest has gained entry, it will wait for its hacker to issue commands and then send information back to the hacker.  Infection of this sort usually happens through e-mail, peer-to-peer networks and freeware and shareware programs.  Losing complete control of your PC is the ultimate goal of this malicious program.

Win32.Poison has been picked up during my Spybot scans. Despite repeatedly deleting it, it reappeared again when I re-scaned my PC. I even put the PC into safe mode and re-scanned with spybot – but it didn’t pick up on the trojan. I then ran AVG and that picked up on it but didn’t remove it. I was becoming very frustrated when I finally found SpyZooka. It required a full scan in normal mode and a quick scan in safe mode but in about 30 minutes my computer was clean. I now complete a quick scan with SpyZooka once every few days and so far my pc is working like new.

This Win32.Poison infected my laptop yesterday and didn’t let my antivirus start. I downloaded SpyZooka and everything is back to normal. Thanks!
